Student Fellowship

In partnerships with various schools and universities, Historic Athens offers positions within the organization designed to develop students' skills in policy, administrative, fundraising/development, communications, and leadership in a non-profit setting.

Over the last seven years, Historic Athens has stewarded over 100 UGA students through our certified internship program with UGA Experiential Learning.

For the last four years, that program has existed as a paid fellowship with the UGA School for Public and International Affairs. Each semester, Historic Athens has the opportunity to onboard 4+ SPIA Undergraduate or Graduate Students. Interns work up to 240 hours a semester, reporting (on average) 15 hours a week (with limit of  20 hours a week), Monday-Friday, at the Historic Athens headquarters, Old Firehall No. 2, at 489 Prince Avenue.
