Join us as we celebrate the 10th season of our popular walking tour series!
Athens Heritage Walks, sponsored by the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation, is a series of guided walking tours highlighting Athens history and historic architecture. Tour guides are local volunteers with a love for Athens and a special place in their hearts for the places they take you.
The Athens Heritage Walks program is a great way to better understand our local history in a fun and engaging atmosphere – and get some exercise at the same time! Tours are $12 each for members and $15 each for non-members. Tours are generally limited to 25 people, and paid reservations will be accepted on a first come-first serve basis. No tickets are mailed. Instructions on the meeting location and parking for each tour are emailed 1-2 days before the tour date.
